How a project begins

• Every project starts with a consultation. It is where Kristyn works through size, placement, direction, and timing with you.
• A $100 consultation and design reservation fee holds your consultation time and Kristyn's design capacity.
• The fee covers one initial design concept, drawn from the details and references you share.
• Whether the $100 goes toward the cost of your tattoo depends on the project. Kristyn will explain how it applies to yours during the consultation.
• Share your references, your must-haves, and anything you would rather avoid before the design starts — that is what makes the first concept land.
• If you decide you want a different concept after the first one is drawn, an additional design concept is $50.
• Kristyn usually prepares your design about a week before your appointment, and small refinements can be made together on the day.
