How a project works

Tell us what you are thinking — the subject, roughly how big, and where on your body you imagine it. There is no wrong way to describe it.

2. Preview and scope

Send references and, if it helps, a photo of the area where the piece would sit. The more Kristyn can see of what you are after, the better the first concept lands. You may also receive a preliminary time and price range.

Anything shared before your consultation is a starting point for the conversation. The final design, size, placement, and feasibility are confirmed with Kristyn during your consultation.

3. Consultation fee and reservation

A $100 consultation and design reservation fee holds your consultation time and Kristyn’s design capacity, and covers your first design concept. Once it is paid, the studio confirms your consultation time with you.

4. Consultation with Kristyn

Kristyn reviews the project with you: artistic fit, placement, scale, and what happens next. Nothing about the design is settled before this conversation.

5. Artwork preparation

Kristyn normally develops the artwork about a week before your tattoo appointment.

6. Tattoo day

You see the finished drawing on the day. Any last adjustments are made together, before any tattooing begins.
